Our Heat Pump Services

Full range of heat pump services from MCS-accredited engineers. Annual servicing, emergency repairs, installation, cover plans and more — nationwide.

Annual Heat Pump Service

Our annual heat pump service covers a full inspection of all mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant components, ensuring your system is operating within manufacturer specifications. Our F-Gas certified engineers carry out filter cleaning, coil inspection, refrigerant pressure checks, controls testing, and a full efficiency assessment. Regular servicing not only extends the lifespan of your heat pump but is often a condition of the manufacturer's warranty.

Heat Pump Repairs

Our engineers carry advanced diagnostic equipment to quickly identify the root cause of any heat pump fault, from error codes and low pressure alarms to compressor failures and PCB faults. We stock a wide range of common spare parts on our vans and can complete most repairs in a single visit. All repair work is guaranteed, and we provide a full written report of the fault found and work carried out.

Heat Pump Installation

We supply and install air source heat pumps from all leading manufacturers, tailoring each system to the specific needs of your property. Our MCS-accredited installation team handles everything from initial heat loss calculation and system design through to commissioning, handover, and registration for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant. We work in partnership with your chosen manufacturer and can often complete installation within two days.

Emergency Heat Pump Repair

When your heat pump breaks down unexpectedly — especially during cold weather — our emergency repair service gets an engineer to you as quickly as possible, typically within four hours in most parts of the UK. Our emergency engineers carry an extensive range of spare parts and can handle everything from refrigerant leaks and frozen outdoor units to electrical faults and pump failures. We operate 7 days a week, including bank holidays, with no additional call-out charge for weekend attendance.

Ground Source Heat Pump Service

Ground source heat pumps require specialist knowledge that goes beyond standard air source servicing, including inspection of the ground loop, brine circuit, and heat exchanger in addition to the heat pump unit itself. Our engineers are trained and experienced across all major ground source brands and can carry out pressure testing of the ground loop, brine concentration checks, and full refrigerant circuit inspection. We recommend annual servicing to maintain efficiency and protect your investment.

Commercial Heat Pump Servicing

Commercial heat pump installations — whether in offices, hotels, care homes, or multi-dwelling developments — require a structured maintenance programme to meet health and safety obligations and protect system performance. We offer bespoke planned preventative maintenance (PPM) contracts for commercial clients, including scheduled visits, priority breakdown response, and detailed compliance documentation. Our commercial engineers hold all necessary F-Gas, electrical, and confined space certifications.

Heat Pump Powerflush

A build-up of magnetite sludge, scale, or debris in the heating circuit significantly reduces heat pump efficiency and can cause premature component failure. Our powerflush service uses specialist low-pressure, high-velocity equipment designed for heat pump circuits — unlike traditional boiler powerflushing, heat pump systems require specific flow rates and pressures to avoid damaging sensitive components. Following the flush, we dose the system with the correct inhibitor and install a magnetic filter to maintain water quality.

Heat Pump Commissioning

Correct commissioning is critical to ensuring a heat pump delivers its rated efficiency and operates reliably for years to come. Our commissioning engineers check and set refrigerant charge, configure flow temperatures, programme weather compensation curves, test all safety controls, and provide a full MCS commissioning checklist. We also carry out a walkthrough with the homeowner or building manager to ensure they are confident operating and monitoring the system.

Heat Pump Efficiency Check

If your energy bills are higher than expected or your heat pump seems to be struggling, our efficiency check service provides a thorough assessment of real-world system performance. Our engineers measure flow and return temperatures, calculate actual CoP against rated figures, assess weather compensation settings, check the refrigerant circuit, and review controls programming. You receive a detailed written report with actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce running costs.
