8. Clarify What’s Included
Does the quote include:
- Commissioning
- MCS commissioning certificate
- System registration
- BUS grant application
- Removal of old system
- Any required radiator upgrades
- Electrical work?
9. Check Payment Terms
A deposit of 10–25% is normal. Be wary of any installer asking for full payment upfront. Ensure there’s a clear payment schedule tied to installation milestones.
